Short and easy (under 1.5 hours)
Taghazout and Tamraght are classic surf villages with beach cafés. See our Taghazout guide. Paradise Valley has natural pools, palm trees and a short hike; go early to avoid crowds. Souss-Massa National Park is a calm nature stop for birdwatchers.
Culture and history
Taroudant is called "little Marrakech", with intact ramparts and a lively souk without the crowds. Tiznit is known for silver jewelry and its old walls. Combine both in a loop if you leave early.
Longer days (2 to 3 hours each way)
